My name is Jena Starke and I’m married to John.  Right now we’re living in Louisville, KY where my husband is studying and works for The Gospel Coalition.

I’m a full-time wife and mom who stays at home (thank you, Lord, and thank you, John!)  Although I would check the homemaker box on a survey, some days it feels like I’m more of a home-peace-enforcer or home-chaos-preventer.  I’m super in love with my husband, really enjoy baking, think my kids are a lot of fun, and am a junkie for coffee and people.

We have three kids (thus far)…

• Corinne is 4, is outgoing, and loves dresses, princesses and people.  She’s a little type A about some things… but we’re working on it…
• Owen is our curly red-headed two-year-old.  He’s outgoing (notice a trend?) and put plainly, a total ham.  We love it and it keeps us laughing.  He’s yet to figure out that what he’s doing wrong is NOT worth the spanking he’s about to get.
• Noelle is 3 mo. old (as of January 2010) so we can pretend she’s perfect.  John’s hoping she’s an introvert and will like to quietly read books beside him for hours.  The odds are invariably against him.
